The Fender American Performer Jazzmaster RW (3-Colour Sunburst) is a 6-string off-set electric Guitar taken from the American Performer range, and comes in a classic style that has been complemented by contemporary detail solutions for the modern player. This electric Guitar has an Alder body in the traditionally swinging off-set design and a screwed Maple neck in the comfortable “Modern C” profile. 2x Yosemite Jazzmaster single-coil pick-ups also provide warm yet transparent sounds, while the Greasebucket Tone circuit can be configured to suppress the treble without overemphasizing the bass. The 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo bridge provides the American Performer Jazzmaster with an easy and comfortable handling.

The American Performer Jazzmaster uses 2x Yosemite Jazzmaster single coils as pick-ups. Equipped with flat pole pieces and the typical “pancake” coils, which are wide and very flat wound to deliver a warm sound with typical single coil transparency. The soaking in shellac prevents the occurrence of unwanted microphony. A special feature of the linear 3-way circuit for pick-up control is the Greasebucket tone circuit, which also reduces the bass when the treble is reduced, so that the sound always remains transparent.
