Seymour Duncan’s SCPB2 is a hotter true single coil for Tele Bass adds beef and warmth to the traditional vintage tone.

Seymour Duncan was asked to give the traditional single coil pickup a little boost, so they obliged. By increasing the coil wind on the Vintage, they came up with a more robust pickup that added output and low end, yet maintaining the clarity of the original single coil design. So if you like the feel of you Tele Bass, but wish it had a fuller, ballsier tone, this is the pickup for you. This pickup is a drop-in replacement for an American Standard Single Coil Precision Bass.

The SCPB2 is hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Hot for Single Coil P-Bass uses hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets, Forbon flatwork, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free performance.
