The AirLine 77 Series is the latest version of Samson’s compact radio mic systems. Traditional radio systems consist of massive devices with a belt mount and wires, which often interfere with the performer. With the AirLine 77 system, you get a truly wireless system without belt transmitters and wires, allowing the musician to concentrate fully on the performance.
Compact and lightweight, the AX1 micro-transmitter connects to any dynamic microphone. AX1 is so compact and correctly resolved from a design point of view that it is perceived as a natural extension of the microphone.
The Samson Q7 microphone is a hand-held model with a dynamic capsule for a wide range of tasks, both on stage and in the studio. With its wide frequency range, the Q7 is also capable of operating at high sound pressure levels. The supercardioid directivity characteristic of the microphone element allows you to isolate the sound of other instruments on the stage and increase the threshold for the occurrence of acoustic feedback.
All AirLine 77 transmitters are powered by AAA compact batteries. Using alkaline batteries provides up to 14 hours of continuous operation.
The receiver in the system is the CR77 receiver: a two-channel “true-diversity” operating in the UHF band. It works great with AirLine 77 series transmitters. The front panel of the receiver has a display with multi-segment LCD indication of audio and radio signal levels. The volume control on the left allows you to set the desired output level of the audio signal. Balanced XLR output, along with unbalanced 1/4 ”Jack output allows you to connect the receiver to both home and stage / studio equipment, providing high quality signal.
