The Epiphone ES-339 Pro is a modern guitar which pays homage to Epiphone’s classic era when their famous Kalamazoo factory turned out some of the most legendary instruments of the late ’50s and ’60s. It has the reduced-size laminated maple body with a solid center block for maximum tone and sustain. Like the original ES-style classics the black pickguard sports a metal “E” insignia. While its looks are classic, this is a thoroughly modern guitar, and is now loaded with a pair of Alnico Classic Pro humbucking pickups with push/pull coil splitting, giving you a massive variety of tones, making the 339 Pro a highly versatile guitar suitable for more genres of music than ever before. High quality hardware includes a Locktone Tune-o-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpece, and Epiphone Deluxe Vintage tuning heads with tulip buttons.
