Japanese boutique effect makers Providence has introduced the SOV-2 Stampede OD, a high quality transparent overdrive. There was special emphasis was placed on not significantly altering the sound character of the guitar and the amp. The Stampede pedal adds to the basic sound of the guitar to only the desired degree of distortion. The True Bypass circuit operates with the model developed by Providence S.C.T. Circuit. The signal passes in the bypass mode only through one contact on the foot of the switch so as to not create any impairment to the sound.
