he Gretsch 6″ x 13″ USA Metal Hammered Chrome Over Brass Snare Drum brings out a crisp, powerful attack with accentuated frequencies thanks to the chrome plating. This drum mixes in the studio very well, requiring little work from you or the sound guy to make it sound great with everybody else.

The hammered shell on this snare drum gives it a distinctive, almost antique look and it causes the overall sound to be drier than a smooth shell.

All USA Metal snare drums are equipped with the Lightning throw-off, die-cast hoops that create intensely strong rimshots, and a snap-in key holder so you’re never more than an arm’s length away from a drum key.

This model is also fitted with 20-strand snappy snare wires for a quick, sharp response. A knurled, gear-like pattern along the equator of the shell gives this drum a touch of individuality.
